Cedar Creek Holy Church of God

It rained Sunday night and off and on through Monday morning and early afternoon so we were a little slow coming out of hibernation. I did not sleep near as late as I would have liked to but I did rest good. More folks came in yesterday. It looks like a good crowd is gathering for the campmeeting.

Some of the folks that come every year have a fish fry on Monday and they did again this year. I ate some of the crappie fresh out of the fryer and it was very, very good. I was a little busy eating with both hands and passing the hot fish back and forth so I did not get any pictures.

We went to the Monday night fellowship meeting at Cedar Creek in Citronelle. Pastor Jamie Holcomb was preaching and the Lord helped him preach. It was really good and God was speaking to us all. We were blessed to see lots of friends from all over the country.

It was a great service and they served Lasagna and Fettuccine after church. THAT was worth the price of admission if there had been any price!

It seems that the people from the Cedar Creek church and the Whatley church are all excited about the upcoming tent revival. We plan to begin March 31st which is Easter Sunday night. We had a great time and a move of God last year and I believe it will be even better this year. I am sure that some of the folks did not know what to expect last year but they are super ready this year. I can not wait to see what God will do.

Today is the beginning of the Allentown Campmeeting. It kicks off at 10:00 this morning. Odie will be listing a run down of all the preachers and we will be posting some pictures each day. That will probably be the extent of our blogging each day this week.

I hope you enjoy.
