Sunday at Christ Ambassadors Holiness Church was a super great day!
This is the back of Bro. Shobanke's church. On the right is the Sunday School building.
One of the first things on the agenda was passing out suckers to over 100 children in Sunday School. You better believe they were thrilled to see me coming up the stairs!
I like getting all the love and smiles from the children when passing out the candy but for the sake of time I let Bro. Samuel help me. Lol
I love all those children!
Then it was time for the main "Holy Ghost Service" and what a service it was. The crowd was good and they came to worship The Lord.
The singing was great and the prayers and testimonies were powerful. They had extra songs, prayers and other special parts of the service since it was a special day.
When it was our time in the service we presented some gifts to Bro. Shobanke and his family. We had some small gifts for him and Odie sent small gifts to all of them.
We always have fun with that. We enjoy honoring Bro. Shobanke and his family. His church loves it as well. They certainly love Bro. Shobanke and his family.
We sang a couple of songs and then went right into the preaching.
The church was ready for the Word of God and preaching to them was a pleasure. Bro. Shobanke told me to preach both messages in one service so I took my time giving them what the Lord had given me.
Praise God! I had a wonderful time.
They received the message well and we had a wonderful altar service. Praise God for his blessings and His help.
This is Bro. Shobanke's first grandson.
We stopped for an early supper at Chicken Republic and we are now back in the room.
It is not yet 6:00 PM and Kelly Jo is already in bed. She is trying to make up for last night and will take sleep when she can get it. She slept the first 2 hours last night and then could not sleep at all. I hope she does better tonight.
Tomorrow we spend some time at Bro. Shobanke's Christian School and then we will start for Lagos in the early afternoon. Our plane leaves Monday night by God's grace.
Thank you for praying for us.
Davy
