We had a good first day at Iron Post Holiness Church near Locust Grove, Oklahoma. We always enjoy coming to be with Pastor Travis Martin, his wife and his great congregation. This is one of the churches we canceled last year in order to go home for my Dad's surgery. I appreciate Bro. Martin being graceful to us and inviting us back.
We are supposed to be here until Friday and the weather is looking like it will cooperate much better than it did last week. I should be able to get some projects completed on the bus and on the car this week if the forecast holds. Plus both the BoggsMobile and the Green Machine are a mess and in bad need of washing. Maybe I can get Odie to take care of that for me.
While it is fresh on my mind I need to tell you about a schedule change. Our dates for revival at Weir, Kansas the end of January have been adjusted. One of the young men in the church is getting married the end of the week down in Oklahoma so rather than going through Friday we will be closing on Wednesday. The dates are now January 26-29.
Weir was another church we canceled last year so we are looking forward to being with our friends again even if it is an abbreviated visit. Pastor Fellers and his church have been so good to us the 11 years we have been on the road and even before that. We love going to Weir.
