Odie mentioned The Pentecostal Fire Youth Conference in her post last Saturday. We are excited about attending this year by the grace of God. The dates are April 4th and 5th with some pre-conference sessions on the evening of the 3rd. We hope to be there for the whole event.
This year the conference is moving from its former home in Louisville, Kentucky to its brand new home in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The conference with have full use of the brand new state of the art Leconte Center. I think this will prove to be a great move for the conference. It should be awesome.
The theme of the conference this year is "The Truth About it All" and they have a great slate of preachers lined up. Our family is excited to hear the great preaching and we are looking forward to the tremendous altar services as a result of the preaching. In addition to all of the great preaching there will be lots of music and singing and the chance to fellowship with thousands of young folks from across the country.
It is still more than a month away so you have time to make plans to attend. Another great thing about Pigeon Forge is the fact that there of lots of options for lodging and much of it is very inexpensive compared to Louisville. That reminds me that I need to make reservations for a place to park the bus.
The Pentecostal Fire Youth Conference has been known as the PFYC. Mr. Anonymous here in Mississippi said that now PFYC stands for the Pigeon Forge Youth Conference. That is hilarious and works too!
Speaking of Mississippi, we are having a great revival this week in Ellisville, Mississippi. Pastor Kenny Morris and his folks are having church and we are trying desperately to keep up! Thank God for His help. Here are a few picture we posted earlier in the week. I am sure there are more to come.
Thanks for reading.
