Hello friends!
This is Odie checking in from Alabama. I hope you all had a good week.
Today we are supposed to set the tent up in Millry, Alabama. We are looking forward to a wonderful week of tent revival with Pastor Lamar Chapman and area churches.
Our blogging may be sparse this week. As Dad mentioned we have NO phone service and limited WiFi. We will do the best we can.
This week has been a sad time for several dear families. Dad mentioned Monday we lost a cousin Sunday afternoon. I would appreciate it if you keep the family of Craig Coffman in your prayers. His funeral was Friday in Ohio.
Sunday Morning Sis. Cindi Eiland reached Heaven. Our hearts ache for Bro. James and the family and friends left behind. Sis. Cindi Eiland's funeral was Wednesday in Prattville, Alabama.
Wednesday evening Sis. Lana Holden was called home. I can not imagine the pain Bro. Tracy, their children, their families and the church are facing right now. Sis. Lana's funeral will be Monday in Fouke, Arkansas.
Sis. Cindi and Sis. Lana both fought long battles with cancer. I know they are in Heaven rejoicing in the ultimate healing.
Both of these ladies were precious. I am honored to have known them! I am once again thanking God for bringing great people in our lives.
Their leaving this life leaves gaping holes in countless lives. Time will never heal all the hurt these families are experiencing. Thank God for the hope we have the we will see them again in Heaven! Please pray for the Eiland and Holden families.
