Travel Day - Mississippi to California

We have a few pictures of our travel day Tuesday. Praise God for a safe and trouble free trip.

We were flying out of the Hattiesburg/Laurel airport in mid-afternoon so we stopped for a late lunch at Golden Corral in Hattiesburg. Most of the time we are catching a plane very early in the morning and we end up going most of the day without a decent meal. This time we got started right.

This airport is small and very easy to navigate.

The flight to Dallas was smooth and quick. It took us almost as long to change gates in Dallas as it did to fly there from Mississippi!

The flight from Dallas to Fresno was nearly 30 minutes ahead of schedule. That is always a good thing.

Soon we were on the ground in Fresno!

The rental car desk and the baggage claim are in the same room so I got the car while the girls snatched the bags and we were ready to go in a jiffy.

I had text Bro. Anthony Munoz and Bro. Tito Munoz Tuesday morning and we all agreed to meet at Tacos Tijuana for a late night snack and some great fellowship!

I did not get pictures of everyone but we sure are glad they came to meet us. It was so good to see our old friends. We should get to see them more while we are here. We are supposed to be in church with them Sunday morning so at least we will see them then.

Thank you, dear friends, for taking time to spend a little while with us! We loved it!

We arrived at out hotel about 1:40 AM central time and it is a little after 2:00 as I type this. Thankfully it is only midnight here so we will get a few hours of good sleep before service Wednesday morning.
