Taking The Tent Down In Oklahoma City

We had a great day around home Monday July 4th. It all started with a great night of sleep. We pulled the bus in the barn Sunday evening so it was dark and quiet inside. I slept like a baby for the second night in a row. After weeks of running and tent revivals, two nights in a row of good sleep is wonderful! I am writing most of this post late Monday night but I am hoping for three in a row.

The morning started with work though. I had some work to do in the barn and I had to drag out 200 hundred feet of water hose and fill up the fresh water tank on the BoggsMobile. We had not added water since Friday June 24 in Wichita, Kansas and the tank was bone dry. We like showers so it was time to fill it up. Of course it was raining like cats and dogs the whole time I was outside messing with the hose!

We met Kelly Jo's parents and two nieces at Acapulco for lunch at 11:00 for another great meal and fellowship.

Kelly Jo and Odie spent the afternoon kicking around town with them while I changed the oil in the bus generator and worked on some ongoing projects at the barn.

By a little after 3:00 we were all gathering at my Dad's barn for a cookout for the 4th. It was wonderful to see most everyone in my immediate family along with several others that were there as well. We had a good time. I think Odie took some pictures that we will post later.

In today's post I have pictures of the tent take down in Oklahoma City. Everything came down smoothly, quickly and safely and that is exactly how I like it. Thanks to all the folks that worked so hard and efficiently to take it all down.

Today I will plan to keep working at the barn and drive to our City Reach Dayton location and see what needs to be done to prepare for setting up the tent. A brother went by Sunday and sent me some pictures and it looks to be in better shape than I thought it was. Let us hope so!

Thanks for reading and enjoy the pictures.
