The big day is finally here. In a few hours we will be off to the airport. We have one US stop, one Europe stop and then Lagos by about 11:45 AM eastern time Wednesday. It usually takes a couple of ours to clear customs, grab our luggage and get to the van. Then it is a couple of hours to get to Abeokuta. Hopefully we will make it to the hotel by 4-5:00 PM eastern time which is 10-11:00 PM Nigerian time. That is about 36 hours after we leave the barn, IF all goes well.
I am sure we will be taking pictures and posting them here along the way if we have Wifi. There may be some days where there are no posts and there may be days with multiple posts. Check back when you can. Odie will also be posting some as well while we are gone.
I talked to Bro. Shobanke on the phone yesterday. He is excited to see what God is going to do in the next several days. I think he may be the only one more excited than us about us going back to Nigeria. It is going to be wonderful to see everyone again.
Kelly Jo and I appreciate you praying for us. We desire God to lead us every step of the way, keeping us safe and making us effective for His purpose. It will be a colossal waste of time, money and energy if we go to Africa and help no one. I believe that God is going to speak and that God will receive the glory.
