Long time readers know that our habit during campmeetings is to post mostly pictures. Our days are so full that we do not usually have time for much else. Plus, we receive quite a few requests for pictures from campmeetings and they prove to be some of our more popular posts. Since this is the beginning of Allentown week, the next few days will be pictures from the meeting.
We left Richton Monday morning and about 90 minutes later we were pulling onto the grounds at Allentown. Bro. Jimmy Millikin had trimmed the trees in our normal spot so all we had to do was pull right in. After we parked we visited with the Millikin's and a few other preachers until it was time to get ready for church.
The Millikin's invited us to join them for dinner at Cracker Barrel. They were meeting Bro. Donnie and Sis. Gayla Williamson and it was our pleasure to join them all for a great meal and wonderful fellowship with friends.
Then we were off to the Monday night fellowship meeting at Cedar Creek church near Citronelle. It is nearly an hour up there when it is raining but it was worth the drive! The singing and testimonies were great and Bro. JR Alexander preached outstanding. We are so glad that we went.
We appreciate Pastor Darius Templeton and all of his folks for making us all feel so welcome!
The Allentown Campmeeting officially kicks off this morning at 10:00. We are looking forward to it all!
Thank you for tuning in.
Davy
