Our original intention was to drive to the south side of Nashville Thursday night but as I explained earlier we decided to spend the night at Prevost on the north side of town. I dreaded the traffic during the daytime but I figured I would take the chance.
Early Friday morning the fog was so thick that we could not easily see across the parking lot. As you can see below, the fog had burned off by 9:00 and it was a beautiful day.
I pulled around and emptied the holding tanks before leaving. This entertainer bus and matching trailer below were parked in one of the leased spots. I love that green! That is a newer XLII and I love the lines and rivets on the older XL buses like the BoggsMobile but I am infatuated with the green.
Traffic was heavy going through Nashville but we made it fine. We had a good travel day and by afternoon we were in Meridian, Mississippi. We rested a while and considered spending the night but decided to go on to Richton. Darkness fell while we were driving but it was a good drive too.
Excuse the bugs on the windshield in the picture below, but I wanted you to see the mountains up ahead on the road.
There are no mountains like that in Mississippi. Those are only clouds but it sure looked like we had been translated to Virginia, Wyoming or Montana.
We pulled into First Assembly Friday night and did not even unhook. We visited a few minutes with Bro. Scott and his family and went to bed. Saturday morning we unloaded the sound equipment, unhooked the trailer, backed the BoggsMobile into position and then gave everything a good washing.
It has been a long time since the trailer was this clean. I appreciate Bro. Scott helping us clean the trailer and BoggsMobile.
Saturday evening Bro. Scott helped us set up our sound and we had a good time singing, playing and acting like I am playing.
I do not know what is wrong with all of the pictures inside the church. Odie took these and the lights are wreaking havoc. I will try to do make some changes tomorrow and see if we can make it better.
It is very good to be back in Richton in revival with our dear friends. God was moving last night and we are expecting great things all week long. It is good to be back in the saddle again.
Thank you for reading today.

Good morning, our brother and sister! As I let Trouble out this morning around 6 and watched the pink of sunrise peeking from behind the Mississippi pines, my thoughts meandered to the gifts our Father gives in His infinite wisdom. The gift of meeting your family and the love of God that flows from your hearts in your very existence. Just knowing you touches my heart in a way that can only be explained as a God thing. And that's a mighty amazing thing. Sending big hugs this morning and looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night. May the Father move mightily upon tonight's service as the Spirit touches and changes hearts. blessings, p

Wished we would've known y'all were in Meridian. We would have loved to met y'all and ate or just visited. Y'all could have even parked/stayed the night with us. We've planned to come to revival this week, and can still hopefully make it tonight or tomorrow night. Things keep happening / coming up.
ReplyDeleteWe sure hope you all can come to revival. That would be great!
DeleteThank you for the invitation. We are likely to take you up on it some time!
