Weekend Woundup and Weview 4/30/18

The weekend started early Friday morning for us. We had many things that had to be completed at the house before we left. I was amazed at all I was able to accomplish by 7:30 AM. It was a great morning. We all worked hard and by dark Friday night most everything was completed.

I appreciate Mom, Dad, Steve, Lisa and Kelly Jo working hard on Friday. Bro. Larry Landress had some work to do on the concrete and he worked diligently on that as well. I was real happy with the whole day.

Odie's dishwasher was delivered Friday.

We will wait until later to purchase most of the appliances but we needed this one so the plumber can hook it up.

Here are a few pictures of Friday's work in action.

I had a few more things to do in the house Saturday morning and then we prepared to run down the road. Shortly after Bro. Larry and Sis. Rosemary left, we followed them out.

I was way too sleepy when we pulled out, but I gained a second wind and drove all but about 100 miles of the trip to Bristol before stopping for a nap. When I did stop, I napped for over 90 minutes. Wow! That felt good!

The BoggsMobile pulled into Grace Tabernacle in Bristol, Virginia a few minutes after 7:00 PM Saturday night. We had traveled 404 miles from the Lazy OD Ranch to the church.

Bro. Switzer came to help us load in and get sound check. After that was completed we settled down to a pretty good night's rest. I woke up ready for a great Sunday.

It is great to be back at Grace Tabernacle with Pastor David Horton and Pastor Michael Switzer and all of the folks. Our last visit here was for a Sunday in June of last year. It is wonderful and refreshing to be back here in revival.

God blessed us and the church with two great services Sunday. The church responded wonderfully and I am thankful for that. I love watching people grab hold of the word of God and cling to His promises. It encourages me to do the same!

We are looking for a great week of revival here in Bristol. Pray for us if you think of it and believe God to help His people.

Thank you for reading today.
