It is great to be in Bristow, Virginia this week with Pastor Ken Taylor and his folks. We are having wonderful services each night and I am enjoying preaching to the saints. They have a long history of great revivals here and great men preaching in this church.
It is our happy privilege to be here in revival. Great preachers must be harder for Pastor Taylor to find now.
We are going back nine years in the archives to one of our first revivals at Bristow Assembly. We had our niece Deidre with us that year and Benji and Laura Burris were visiting from California. Sis. Laura is Bro. and Sis. Taylor's daughter.
Benji and Laura took us into Washington D.C. one night after church. There are a few pictures from that adventure at the bottom of the post. We had so much fun that night.
We had a wonderful week and these pictures sure bring back a lot of memories. Also the interior of the sanctuary has been remodeled since then. The change is tremendous. I had forgotten what it looked like.
I hope you enjoy this Vintage View Vednesday. Thank you for stopping in.
Davy
