We made it to the Lazy OD Ranch about 7:30 PM Eastern on Tuesday.
For this Vintage View Wednesday we are going back to January 2009 to an Isaacs Concert. We missed the Isaacs Musication Nation weekend in Franklin, North Carolina recently and Odie is almost in mourning. Maybe this will help her.
I believe this concert was in Tyler, Texas at Green Acres Baptist Church on a Monday night of all times. We had closed revival on Sunday night and were starting another quite a ways from there on Monday or Tuesday but we detoured through Tyler, if I remember correctly.
We arrived in the early afternoon and parked the BoggsMobile out of the way in the back forty of the massive group of parking areas. We were happy to be there for soundcheck, a great visit and for a wonderful concert.
The church was hoping to have a decent turnout on a Monday night, but did not know exactly what to expect. The lower floor ended up being standing room only and the balcony had a good crowd too!
We also were introduced that night to some folks from near Austin, Texas that we sang for at a later date. That was neat. It was a great night and the pictures bring back a lot of memories.
