The weekend began bright and early Friday morning. It was a beautiful morning.
The whole day was good. We enjoyed a great meal and fellowship with Bro. and Sis. Jarvis along with Bro. and Sis. Woods. We love when our friends meet our friends and like each other!
We had another wonderful service Friday night to conclude revival. We sure appreciate the great hospitality from Bro. and Sis. Jarvis and all the folks from First Pentecostal. We had a great time all week long.

Saturday morning did not begin so early. We only had a little over 200 miles to drive so I let the girls rest a while. By the time the BoggsMobile was cranked, the utilities disconnected, the trailer hooked up and the Green Machine loaded it was nearly 11:00 AM.
What should have been a nice uneventful drive turned exciting about 90 miles into the trip. I may write it up in more detail later, but we blew a heater hose and spent an exciting hour next to the highway getting the coolant flow stopped and the coolant tank topped off.
The rest of the trip was mostly uneventful.

We pulled into Central City, Kentucky and dropped the tent trailer in town. I can not get the trailer into the church parking lot so a nice barber in town allows me to park it in his lot. This is the second time I have done this in Central City.
We pulled into the church in Central City a few hours later than planned and we were glad to be there. Our dear friends Pastor Alan and Sis. Tammy Harris met us at the church. Wow! It is good to see them and receive such a warm welcome!
We were anxious to see inside the church. Right after we were here last year, they completly remodeled the inside. I posted about that HERE. Since we had seen all the pictures, we knew what the remodel looked like in general. But the pictures could not tell it all. Beautiful!

It is very, very nice. I am so happy for the Harris family and the church.

We visited with our friends while setting up our sound and getting a quick sound check. Then we made our way to the bus and allowed the stress of the day to ease out of our bodies. A day of travel with a little bus drama would be a good time for a hot tub on the roof of the bus!
😎
Odie smiling next to the bus is pretty relaxing too. It is nice to have a happy family on a stressful day.

Both services Sunday were excellent. We have come to expect no less out of this great bunch of folks. I know to expect great food, great fellowship and a great move of God's Spirit this week and we are excited to be smack dab in the middle of it!
That wraps up this weekend report. Thank you for joining us today.
