It was a wonderful few days of revival at the House of Prayer in Gainesville, Texas. We had five services and every one of them was really, really good. The attendance from the church and visitors from the community was incredible. Plus we had friends from Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Sherman, Texas and Ft. Worth, Texas. It was wonderful to see everyone.
Our friends from Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Bro. Larry and Sis. Rose Landress were not able to come for service, but they met us for lunch Wednesday. That was an awesome treat! It is always good to see them and spend some time with them. They would have stayed longer, but their home church was in revival too. We understand that for sure.
Pastor Dennis King and his wife Sis. Judy welcomed us with open arms. They are so thoughtful. They do their best to anticipate our every need while we are there and their hospitality is second to none. The way they embrace our friends and family that comes to see us makes it even more of a pleasure for our friends to come.
We closed revival Wednesday night and left that night to avoid the daytime traffic nightmare conglomeration that is the DFW area. I will have more on our travels when we wrap up the weekend next Monday. You do not want to miss that post. We have not had this much fun since the hogs ate my brother.
You come here on Friday for Revival In Pictures, so here you go. Please enjoy a glimpse of the revival we enjoyed so much! Thank you for dropping in.
