In the fall of 1992, we met Bro. Anthony and Sis. Rosemary Munoz and Bro. Tito and Sis. Robin Munoz during our first trip to California.
Bro. Anthony's Dad, Bro. Joe Munoz was the pastor of their church when I preached a revival in the storefront church on Fresno Street shortly after I met them. We had a few glorious services and we bonded quickly with these great people. There was no way we could know what an incredible role these families would play in our future along with others they would introduce into our lives.
We kept in touch as much as possible in those prehistoric communication days, but we did not see them again for almost eight years. We were Pastoring in Wichita, Kansas and we drove 500 miles to attend Fairland Camp Meeting in Fouke, Arkansas.
We were only there a couple of days, but we were reunited with our dear friends from Fresno and we were overjoyed, to say the least. Near the end of their whirlwind trip from California and then back home, they sacrificially detoured through Wichita to see us and to be in church with us on a Sunday night. It was a night to remember.
I had a visiting preacher there from Ohio, but we turned it into a camp meeting service with Bro. Tito and Bro. Anthony preaching and the scheduled preacher finishing up. It was awesome! We also had great fellowship after church and they stayed a while the next day and visited as long as they could.
It honestly felt like we had never skipped a beat and never been separated by time and miles. It was wonderful. I saw them again in September 2001 and in 2003 we preached a revival for Bro. Anthony in the church building they had acquired several years before.
The rest, as they say, is history! Their children have grown up and are having children and God has added other families to the church and it is a beautiful sight! We loved being there this week and we are thrilled to bring you Revival In Pictures from Fresno, California.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop in today. Thank you! Enjoy the pictures.

That is awesome, bro. I did not know you knew them that far back, but I should have. They are great folks for sure. Thank you for reading.

I met them back in 1986. It has been a long time. I preached for them often in the 80s when Bro. Paul Welch, Bro. Trevor's dad, was their Pastor.
