Since we were with friends at Mt. Vernon in Oklahoma City on Saturday, how about some pictures from our vast archives from Mt. Vernon in about 2008.
I wish I had pictures from Mt. Vernon in 2000. We preached a revival there for Bro. Searcy that year while we were pastoring about 2.5 hours north in Wichita. We to hammered with snow, like 12+ inches and we had revival right on through it. We played in the snow during the day and had church at night.
Bro. Steve and Sis. Shawna Walker from the church in Wichita brought their family down and were in revival with us. That was so special and we love the memories. Unfortunately, we have no pictures. These are from a few years later in 2008.
We have a long history with Bro. Searcy and Mt. Vernon church that goes back to 1990. We love these folks so much and they have returned that love by the truck full.
