Welcome to another Saturday post written by Odie. I hope you are ready for a little laughter. I have a funny story to share with you.
In 2020 the top fashion accessory has become our mask and protective equipment. We are doing our best to keep ourselves and others protected. I have slowly been adding to my PPE collection. I wanted different options to choose from.
One of my latest additions is a face shield that I wear in stores in addition to my mask. I like having the added safety. Mom has had a face shield for a while and I wanted to be cool like my Mom. 😆
The first day that I wore my face shield into a store it was a horrible struggle! I could not see clearly at all. It was aggravating and it was hard to read anything. I was thinking, "so much for a cheap face shield". I did feel better protected so I continue to use it, but I determined that I was not going to recommend this product to anyone else.
On the second outing that I used my face shield, Mom picked it up for a moment. She said did you take the protective plastic cover off of your shield? I was like what are you talking about? I was not aware of the covering, so no I had not removed it!
Upon further investigation, both sides of my shield had a layer of the plastic. I felt so dumb! All I could do was laugh! This is another classic Odie story for the books.
Mom removed the plastic for me. Now I can see clearly through my shield! I really like it now. You live and learn, right? Well, now I know! I wish that I had a before picture for you, but I do have an after picture. It is so clear now, it is easy to forget that I have it on and I may find myself cramming food into it!
