This Vintage View Vednesday is a bus related. I know that some of our regular readers run for the door at the first sight of mechanical posts, but others come especially for the bus stuff. I understand that I can not please all the people all the time, but IF you must go, come back as soon as you can. We love having you around.
Since we are in Vonore, Tennesse this week, I thought it would be appropriate to visit the archives and find pictures from our first visits here. I have pictures from our first and second trip to East Tennessee Luxury Coach for you today.
Jeff Rowe and this place are so intertwined in our lives now, it is difficult to believe that we have only known Jeff for 6 1/2 years. He has become a dear friend to our family and we love and appreciate him very, very much.
Our first trip here was a get acquainted visit while he replaced one of our windows along the side. The second was a full on visit for air bags, brake chambers and Norgren valves. It is amazing to see the changes in Jeff's shop.

I cut one open and there was no moisture in it. That is a good sign.
A few of the old ones were in bad shape.
These are Norgren valves. They basically direct the air flow to all the various air systems on the bus. Some of them were original and desperately needed to be replaced. They all were past their normal life span.

There are nine of these on the BoggsMobile, six of one kind and three of another. Seven of them are under the bus. There are six in the back and one in the front. The other two are in a compartment under the driver's seat.
