We are in revival this week at First Pentecostal Church in London, Kentucky this week and we are having a wonderful time. We love coming here each time we visit. The church folks are so welcoming and they are a joy to preach to. We appreciate Pastor Vernon Jarvis inviting us to come.
Our history of preaching at First Pentecostal only goes back about 8 or 10 years, but we have known people in the church for nearly 40 years. We knew their former Pastor, Bro. Gene Huff for much further back than that. He was a great man that had a wonderful positive influence on our lives.
It is such an honor to stand in this pulpit to sing and preach. We praise God for the opportunity to do so.
In 2013 Pastor Jarvis asked us to minister in their Christmas service. That was so much fun! The church was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The church is gorgeous anyway, but Christmas 2013, it was a step above.
We do not have a lot of pictures from that night, but what we have we present to you as our Vintage View Vednesday post this week. I hope you like them.
