Peace In Trusting

Hey Friends, 

This is Odie reporting in with you today. Happy Saturday, I hope that you had a great week. I am doing well.

Today I want to share some thoughts that have been rolling over in my heart. Hopefully, my mind and fingertips can convey my feelings, as I type this post. 

Peace In Trusting 

Recently I have been reflecting on the faithfulness of God. It is a blessing that we can trust Him! God is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us! 

The uncharted terrain that we all have been traveling may be scary, but we are not alone.  I am grateful to have Him navigating life with me! I am thankful that I can depend on the peace that He gives me.

I have also been reminding myself that true and lasting peace comes when I can fully trust God. He is in control of all things. Not one thing will ever take Him by surprise.

Daily I am trying to remember to trust Him anew. He can see me through the events of each day. A couple of my favorite Bible passages give me great strength and comfort. These words are so true and they never lose their power! 

Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭ 

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Philippians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭‬‬ 

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

There is a beautiful song that has been encouraging me recently. I am going to share it with you today. My cousins Sonya Isaacs Yeary, Jimmy Yeary and Becky Isaacs Bowman penned this song last year. They have a true gift of writing songs that speak straight to the heart!
