The Weekend Write Up March 1, 2021

Wow! It is March 1!  Last year on March 1, Odie and I got up very early in Vonore, Tennessee and I brought Odie to Ohio to stay while KJo and I were on our great Adventure/Vacation/Mission Trip to the southern hemisphere.

We ate lunch with Steve and Karen at Acapulco that day. I had no idea that would be the last day I would eat inside a restaurant in Ohio for at least a year!

I went back and read the post from that weekend and I am tired all over again. We left Ellisville, Mississippi after church Friday night. By Monday morning I had driven all the way to Ohio and back to Vonore, Tennessee. That does not even look good on paper.

Sunday evening I slept on Odie's couch a few hours and by daylight Monday I was over 300 miles away, back with KJo in the bus. While I was gone, she finished most of the last minute preparations for our trip.

What a difference one year makes.

Weekend
This weekend is kind of a blur, although we really did not do that much. We did enjoy several services online Sunday and we are thankful for that.

We got the Jeep licensed, Kelly Jo's parents came for a visit with food, Mom and Dad brought food and stopped by a few times, Steve and Karen were in town for a quick minute and they came by with Jojo.

KJo and I played guitar a lot and we did a soundcheck video Saturday night after she set up the sound equipment. We hope to try to record a revival service by Tuesday night.

Cousin Lisa and Odie visited on Odie's porch for few hours in the sunshine one day. That is a huge change from the weather a week ago and I say Hallelujah for it!

I am praising God that I am doing better. I am not 100% or even close to 100% but I am no longer 20% and that is good. Honestly, I am not recovering my breathing as quickly as I would like and I would love for you to continue praying for me.

I have been very diligent to do deep breathing exercises and I even walked in place nearly every day, even when I could barely breathe. I was hoping to be further along by now. As Gerald Crabb wrote many years ago, Patience is a virtue and a weakness of mine!😜

Thank you for stopping by, friends.

Davy
