Weekend Write Up 4/19/21

Is there such a thing as a routine weekend? Routine is not our thing, but times are changing.😁

Friday was a day without much work and it was much needed AND appreciated. Kelly Jo's parents came for lunch and a few hours visit and we enjoyed it tremendously. The only pictures we have of them with us are from the visit to Dairy Queen.

Friday evening we moved the bus back into the barn. We like being outside, but there is safe feeling that comes with being tucked inside.

Moving the bus was not without incident. The last three times I have started it, the batteries have been low. It is time to change these, for sure, but I have sneaking suspicion that something may be malfunctioning and draining the batteries.

Since I wired in a charger in 2014, I can get it started, but changing batteries and getting to the bottom of the problem now moves to the top of the bus list. It is not all roses and daisies around here.😊

Saturday KJo and Odie ran across a gaggle of Jeeps.

Late in the evening some very low flying hot air balloons went over Odie's house.

This is the loaner Jeep Compass we have been driving this week. We are expecting a call from the dealer saying ours is ready at any moment.

Sunday morning we were blessed to be back in service at our home church on Dryden Rd. in Moraine.

This is Samantha Marlow in the picture above with Odie. We met her and her husband, Herb, in Phoenix, Arizona several years ago. Herb is originally from the Dayton area and they are here visiting family. We are so glad that Samantha was able to be in church with us Sunday morning.

Far be it from us to ever develop any sort of routine, but this weekend was pretty routine.🤣

I hope you had a great weekend. Thank you for sharing a few minutes of your day with us.

Davy
