Father's Day 2021

Hey Friends,

Thanks for joining me here today. I am thrilled to have you visit me for a moment.

Tomorrow is Father's Day. Do not forget to love on your Dad a little extra this weekend.

I want to wish all the Fathers reading this a Happy Father's Day! Many of you have been so kind to me! I appreciate all the Godly men that God has placed in my path of life. Thank you for investing in me, praying for me, loving me and encouraging me to be a better person. 

Several of my friends have lost their fathers. I am so sorry, I know this is a rough day for them. If that is your story, please know that I am praying extra prayers for you this weekend! My heart aches for all of you. I am sending virtual hugs your way.

Father's Day 2021

This year Father's Day is extra special to me. A few months ago there were days that I wondered if my Dad would be here with me to celebrate another Father's Day. God heard all the prayers and raised him up! I praise God with all of my heart. The tears start clouding my vision, just thinking about how blessed I am. 

On those hard days, the questions and what-ifs were too many to count. I am thankful that God stood near us through each moment. All of my prayers and concerns are not answered yet, but my heart is joyful! I know God is in control and will work things out according to His plan and time.

Recently I have seen my prayers answered. A couple weeks ago Dad was singing at church. The anointing of God was all over him. I had to smile and shout in victory. There were times that I did not know if I would see that again! I had to rejoice!

I have also been able to see and hear my Dad preach again! That is another answer to countless prayers! That is one of my favorite things to experience. Watching God use my father to speak to another life is truly amazing. 

I am grateful that God has allowed me to see ministry in action most of my life! I believe those days are not over. I look forward to what God has in store for our family!

Dad, there is no way that I can really express my deep love and appreciation for you! I will use the expression you taught me from the time that I can remember. "I love you more than a hog loves slop!" You have taught me that is a lot of love.

Today my heart is overflowing with gratitude for you! I can not list here all the things that I need to thank you for. Please know that I think you are an incredible father and role model. I would not be the person that I am today without your guidance in my life.

This is Father's Day 2021 and I compiled a list of 21 qualities that I love and admire in you. These are qualities you have lived in front of me and shown me how important they are in life. Thank you for your Godly example!

1. Faith in God.
2. A prayer life.
3. Your devotion to God and family.
4. Loving to go to church, preaching, and preachers.
5. Love for the hurting and lost soul.
6. Work ethic.
7. Always looking for another adventure.
8. Anointing from God
9. Loyalty
10. Selflessness
11. Striving to be ethical in all situations.
12. Willingness to help anyone.
13. Demonstrating  cheerful and sacrificial giving
14. Laughter and having fun.
15. Forgiveness
16. Caring and compassion for others.
17. Kindness
18. A love of learning and reading.
19. Hope
20. A vision for the future.
21. An optimistic attitude.

Here is a bonus quality that I am so glad that you shared with me. I could not forget this one, your love of food! I owe you some salsa to truly celebrate Father's Day with you. I hope you know that you are truly loved this weekend and always! I will forever proudly be a Daddy's girl!
