Our Weekend Report 12/13/21

We were on the move again this weekend. We covered plenty of miles and enjoyed plenty of smiles. That makes for a pretty good weekend in our book!

We began in south Florida with intentions of being at Beechfork Holiness church with our friends in Tennessee on Sunday. We had ground to cover and ribs to eat along the way.

KJo found a taco truck in Spartanburg, South Carolina! Yay!

And a breakfast bar along the way.

By the time we arrived in Tennessee, we received word that some of the Beechfork folks were sick. Out of the abundance of caution, they were staying away from their church on Sunday and recommended we do the same. We agreed, although we hated to miss seeing them.

Sunday morning we were up early traveling about two hours to preach for Pastor Vernon Jarvis and our friends at First Pentecostal in London, Kentucky. We had a wonderful morning with them!

We appreciate Bro. Jarvis for inviting us and treating us so well. After lunch, we drove about an hour to Danville, Kentucky to preach for Pastor Chris McKinney. It has been a few years since we have been to Danville and we enjoyed it so much.

Bro. Chris heard Saturday that we were going to be in London so he called and asked if we were free Sunday night. We appreciate him reaching out to us and we were glad to go.

Sis. Sharon was in both services Sunday.

I was preaching about Must Have, "IT" Christmas gifts Sunday morning and mentioned the best gift to ask for was socks. If you ask for socks and get something else it is a bonus. IF you get socks, then you get what you asked for and you always need them.

Sunday night, she brought me socks (The "IT" gift for 2021) for Christmas!😍😍 Hilarious, Sis. Sharon!

That wraps up our weekend. Thank you for joining us for a few minutes.

Davy
