I need to go all the way back to Wednesday for The Weekend Dispatch. The last night of revival was canceled at Beacon of Hope. Sis. Sly from Bible Holiness in Elkton passed away early Wednesday morning. Sis. Gwen May, the Pastor's wife at Beacon of Hope, is Sis. Sly's daughter.
Pastor Tony Doval from Landmark Tabernacle called mid morning on Wednesday and asked us to minister at Landmark. We were very glad to accept the invitation. We had a great time getting reacquainted with his people and we enjoyed the presence of the Lord. We appreciate their kindness very much.

I am supposed to rest on Thursdays and Fridays when possible and that is exactly what I did Thursday. I slipped over to the church and recorded a video for this week, but I did nothing else productive all day long.
Friday the girls went to the laundry and I cleaned the plumbing bay and the floor of the generator hush box. I have been working on the generator for the last two weeks and cleaning the tray was the final touch. I will write about that later.
That is about all that we did during the day Friday.
Friday evening we drove about 45 minutes to visit a few minutes with our friends from Bible Holiness and especially the Sly family at Sis. Sly's Visitation. Bro. and Sis. Sly have been faithful for many, many years. Sis. Sly is already greatly missed.
We have a few food pictures from the end of the week.
Saturday morning we disconnected the utilities, cranked the bus and eased out of the parking lot at Beacon of Hope. Although we were ultimately going north, we went south a few miles to the new Love's in Greenville, to do the work of the evangelist. When that was finished, we hooked up the jeep and turned north.
We had about 40 miles of interstate and then about 75 miles on 259, 29 and 50. I had researched two major routes from I-81 to Romney and this one was not bad. It was mostly two lane roads with very few shoulders and lots of curves. There were no serious mountains to climb. I took it easy and threaded our way through for about 130 miles total in about 3.5 hours.
We did run through a patch of snow. Yep, snow on March 26.

Fifteen minutes later and we were driving in sunshine.
Going back to Virginia in about 10 days I may try 50 all the way to I-81 at Winchester, Virginia. It looks good from what I can see although it is longer. It may be as good as Saturday's route or even better. Only one way to find out.
Pastor Bob Jeffreys met us and helped us get parked and set up. He also helped us get the sound equipment carried and assembled along with his son Joel and grandson Zachary. It sure was great to see our friends again.
