It has been busy on the BoggsMobile the last few weeks and we have had plenty of subjects to write about. We try to give you a variety of things to read and pictures to see on Mile Markers and a wide assortment of topics have been easy to find lately.
In all of the busyness and excitement, I failed to point out for you a prominent Mile Marker we passed about three weeks ago. We noted it in our personal conversations, but I neglected to make a note of it here.
Today, I am rectifying my error and recognizing an important anniversary that rolled by us in March.
March 21, 2022, marked 14 years of us owning the BoggsMobile!
We purchased our 1995 Prevost XL Vantare on March 21, 2008 from Florida Luxury Coach in Sanford, Florida. We left that evening and drove toward Alabama and spent the first night at Flying J in Tallahassee.
March 21, 2008, Sanford, Florida

That first night at Flying J, Odie slept on the couch, KJo slept in the bed and I sat in the driver's seat and stared out the window all night long! I wondered for hours, "What in the world have I done?"
I had borrowed more money than I had ever borrowed in my life and put it on a long term note. The bus was thirteen years old and once I left the lot, there was no warranty at all. It could have been tragic. It could have been the worst decision I had made in my life.
That night in the parking lot of Flying J, I was not sure at all. In fact, I was leaning toward driving back to Sanford and begging them to rip the sales contract and loan into a million pieces.
Somewhere in the middle of the night leading into March 22, 2008, I had my first episode of "Bus Induced Psychosis" and we began one of the most exciting adventures in our lives. Through the years, the bus morphed into our home, the BoggsMobile, and it became a beloved member of our family.
We look forward to the BoggsMobile being a big part of our family for many years to come!
You will find a bunch of interesting pictures of the BoggsMobile HERE.
Thank you for joining us today.
Davy
