We have been in absolutely beautiful country the last few days, but the trade off was very little phone signal. It was worth the trade! I can not tell you how pretty it was. Wow! I can only imagine how amazing it looks in the fall.
Another plus? Without cell signal, I read most of three books in 3+ days too!
What brought us to gorgeous Rio, West Virginia? Pastor Bob Jeffreys recommended us to Pastor Jed Metzler and Bro. Jed asked us to squeeze in a few nights while we were in the area preaching for Safe Haven Tabernacle in Romney. We appreciate the invitation and we were thrilled to be able to do it.
We love going new places and preaching to new faces. There have been many times that we have never met anyone from the church until revival begins and this is almost one of those times. There were two or three church members that attended a night of revival in Romney and we met another couple in town so we did know someone.😁
Pastor Metzler and his people received us with open arms and made us feel right at home. Before service even began the first night, we were well on our way to having a good revival.
It was amazing to watch God at work in the very first service. Hallelujah! What God can do with one song or one Word in one service is nearly unbelievable. The only reason it is believable is because we see it with our own eyes and experience it with our own hearts. Praise God for His help!
