We began our day yesterday at a Love's Truck Stop in Indiana only 100 miles from home. We wanted to finish the trip Sunday night but after 450 miles Saturday, preaching Sunday and then driving 275 miles, I was done, way done.
The BoggsMobile pulled into the Lazy OD Ranch Monday morning about 10:30. Yay! When the bus pulled in the drive, it was completing a long circle that began in January.
Although we slipped home in the Jeep for a few days at the end of April, the bus left in early January and has been gone for 6.5 months. KJo and I have been gone all but about a week of it.
The bus began the year with 394,506 miles and today it has 404,345. So the big circle we finished Monday was 9,839 miles! The engine ran great, the transmission shifted beautifully and everything else worked good too. Not too shabby for a 27+ year old bus!
We left Tennessee to begin our west coast trip on May 17. Over the course of 10 weeks, we preached in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas and then in Illinois on Sunday. From Tennessee, out west and back was 5442 miles.
The leg from California toward home began on July 5, ended on July 25 and was 2,534 miles.

And I think the reason You came back to the Lazy OD Ranch so soon is simply because You just couldn’t stand two great women giving You orders for Dear Odie was finally back with Y’all & how so wonderful which is the only way to go as long as GOD is there also always), YoFrankie.
