Friday morning we finished our trip from California to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Hopefully, I can bring you up to date with a Travelogue before the week is out.
We had a busy weekend with three great services, lots of scenery, friends, food and fun. I will tell you upfront that we fell on our faces in failing to get pictures. I apologize profusely, but there is not much I can do to fix it now. Please forgive us.
Our worst failure in picture taking was Friday night and Sunday morning at Soul Harbor Church in Colorado Springs. We loved being back with our friends so much, but we have no photographic evidence. Next time we will have to make them all pose for pictures twice!
We enjoyed two meals and fellowship with the Thomas's and some of the church folks. We also parked there in the bus and we appreciate their hospitality and kindness.
Saturday we met our dear friends, Bro. Larry and Sis. Rosemary Landress for breakfast in the morning and sightseeing Saturday evening. Thankfully, Sis. Rose provided the pictures and saved our hides!
Bro. Larry and Sis. Rose were just arriving in Colorado for a few days and detoured in order to spend some time with us. These dear folks have been our friends for a long time and we loved being with them.

Sunday evening we drove north to Castle Rock to have service with Pastor James McCoy and the folks from Liberty Holiness Church. It was pretty warm Sunday afternoon, but the skies were overcast all through the service. That provided relief from the heat, in addition to adding some wind to the service.
We loved being with them again! We love these folks too.
By 10:00 we were back in the bus and shuffling off to bed. Sundays are pretty taxing on me physically, but I sure enjoy them. Praise God for His help in the services and for touching His people.
