Hey Friends,
Welcome to a Thursday post with Odie. Today I will give you a glimpse into my trip home to Ohio from Paducah, Kentucky. My original plan was to fly home on Friday, November 4th.
Mom's parents decided to visit us for a few days in Kentucky. I was able to change my plans and ride home with Gran and Papaw. I was thrilled to get home earlier than planned.
I want to thank my grandparents for putting up with me and giving me a ride home! We had a great day.
My Papaw wanted to go see the Land Between the Lakes. The scenery was beautiful. We drove through the Elk and Bison Prairie. We were able to see several elk and Bison. I have included some pictures I could get as we drove by.

Then it was time to begin the journey homeward. We took the scenic route. My grandparents were able to see a new part of Kentucky for them.
The weather was beautiful! We had a smooth leisurely travel day. I was happy to be spending time with Gran and Papaw!
Cracker Barrel was on the dinner menu for the day. We decided to stop for dinner in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. I plan to tell you more about that stop in another post.
After some rush hour traffic and lots of driving for Papaw, we arrived at the Beach Cottage. I was happy to be home. Gran and Papaw helped me get settled. Then they had another hour to travel home.
I will treasure the memories I made with my Grandparent on this trip home! I thank God for keeping us safe and giving us a wonderful day together.
