Overcast days will come into every life. With the clouds comes doubt, despair and even depression. But we must realize there may be blessings in cloudy days.
I was reminded of a song that used to minister to me and lift me thirty years ago. It may seem depressing at first, but it was remarkably accurate in what I was experiencing.

-You're reminded of the grey

When I first heard that I thought the songwriter was looking right

Do you feel the rain before you even look outside?
Through a cloudy windowpane, you’re reminded of the gray you feel inside.
There is a purpose for the gray.
There are blessings in the cloudy days.
