It is just warming up down here in Florida, but it already feels like summer to us. The humidity and 91 degrees were slapping me around Saturday, but KJo says she is not about to complaim about warm weather!
Sunday afternoon
The weekend began with one final day in Plant City, Florida and the last night of revival with Bethesda Church. We enjoyed our time with Bro. and Sis. Baggett and their church tremendously and we look forward to returning in the future. Odie captured some great pictures from Friday.
Several of the young folks and other church folks helped KJo get all the sound equipment packed up and put away. That is always a fantastic blessing to us.
We stayed out entirely too late Friday night and Saturday morning came around way too soon. However, duty eventually knocked on the door and it was time to get ready to roll.
The 53 mile trip from Plant City to Haines City took us about two hours plus unhooking the Jeep and wiggling into position at the church in Haines City. We have never been able to park the BoggsMobile here, but Bro. Whiffen has opened the fence and hauled in a bunch of fill.
I failed to take pictures of the process, but we got in. Yay!
Bro. Whiffen and some of his men help us get in and set up and then after some rest, they helped us roll in the sound equipment too.
Saturday evening, we met most of the Whiffen family at Sonny's and enjoyed the visit so much!
