Happy August Birthdays 2023

Hey Friends,

This is Odie reporting from the road. Here we are on another Saturday. I hope you had a fabulous week and your weekend will be wonderful too.

We are looking forward to a great weekend in New York! It will be great to see friends we do not get to see often! I know we will be sharing the details about our weekend on Monday.

Well, last Saturday we had a birthday celebration for the July birthdays in our family and friends!

Today we will celebrate more birthdays. August is another busy month for birthdays for our family and friends. I want to take a moment to wish all of you celebrating this month a Happy Birthday! It thrills me to celebrate your birthday, blog style.😃

God has been good to you! He has blessed you with another year of life. I am grateful to have you in our lives. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face when I think of our friendship!

Thursday, August 3rd, was an extra special birthday. Mom's Dad, Danny Morgan, had a big birthday this year. This year marks milestone number 75 for him! That calls for a birthday celebration today!

Happy Birthday, Papaw We love you so much! A picture of an ice cream birthday cake will have to do right now. I will treat you to ice cream when I get home.

Papaw Danny is one of the kindest and gentlest men in the world. I wish there was a way every one of you could know him. He makes me smile every day. He makes the world a better place with his influence! We get the privilege of being part of Papaw's family. I count that as a great blessing! 

I was going thru my pictures of Papaw over the last year. I could not just pick a few favorites. Below is a sampling of the good ones I found on a quick search.

I had to include a picture of Papaw with our great friend Todd Patton from last summer.

We had a blast last fall when my parents visited us in Paducah, Kentucky.

Christmas Eve is the day for Morgan Family Christmas. A highlight of the evening is hearing Papaw read the Christmas story!

I love to have both my Papaw Eugene and Papaw Danny visit me! I am a blessed girl in the grandfather department!

I love my outings with Gran and Papaw! I treasure them so much. This day they had picked me up at the airport.

I always make him play the guitar when they come to my house!
