Our weekend began with a trip to Vonore, Tennesssee and ended with a great Sunday at our home church. I will give you a quick run down and some pictures.
We left for Tennessee Thursday afternoon and pulled back into the Lazy OD Ranch almost exactly 48 hours later. It was a whirlwind but it was a really good trip.
We arrived in Vonore late Friday morning, settled up with Mr. Jeff Rowe and left there Friday afternoon. We had a few things to try to accomplish in Knoxville and then pointed north.
We stopped at the Kentucky welcome center on interstate 75 for the evening. We spent a quiet night there. We considered going to church in London Sunday morning but we rose early Saturday morning and started for home.
We stopped for fuel just north of Richmond Kentucky and then a short walk and rest at a rest area in northern Kentucky. We need to break our travel days up into shorter segments and I am attempting to do that.
We took about an extra hour to get home Saturday but we are gonna have to do better. I was obviously worse for wear the next day. My balance was wobbly Sunday and I could barely swallow my eggs for breakfast. I did not dare try much solid food the rest of the day.
However, Sunday was a super great day. We attended both services at Dryden Rd and we were blessed to be there. We love our home church and our Pastor.
Odie and KJo captured some pictures of our day at home.
That wraps up our weekend. Thank you for stopping by for a few minutes.
Davy
