September Travel To Ohio

Hey Friends,

This is Odie coming to you from Ohio. I traveled home by plane on Tuesday. I flew from Mobile, Alabama to DFW airport and Cincinnati.

I always pray for a smooth travel day without delays or hiccups. Thankfully, that prayer was answered!

I arrived at the airport a couple of hours before my first flight. It is nice to allow ample time before departure. I would rather be safer than sorry I missed a flight.

Here is a picture of Mom and me waiting for time for me to leave.

My first flight left Alabama around 12:30. Here are a few pictures I took before we left. I watched my scooter be loaded on the plane.

Then, it was takeoff time.

Mom got a couple of pictures of the plane leaving Mobile.

Here are some pictures from the air during the flight. I love looking out the window.

We landed in Texas at about 2:30.

I had a few hours on the ground at DFW. I like to have an extended layover. That allowed me plenty of time to find my correct gate, grab food and go to Starbucks. I had to get my first taste of pumpkin spice of the season.

Now, it was time to head to Cincinnati.

I had an aisle seat for this flight. That meant no sky view pictures. It was dark when we landed in Cincinnati.

We made it by 8:30 in the evening. I am grateful for two great flights to get me home. I was delighted to land at the CVG airport. I knew I was getting closer to my beach cottage and soon I would be heading there.

Thanks to my cousin Lauren and Uncle Jay Osborn for picking me up in Cincinnati! They made sure I made it safely home. I also appreciate Mom for helping me get to the airport in Mobile.

Once I was home, I could enjoy my short visit to Ohio. The first thing on the agenda was to rest in my big bed. I forgot to get any pictures to finish out my travel day.

Today, Saturday is the main reason I am home. My cousin Jonas Boggs and Kylee Akers are getting married this afternoon. Next week, I plan to have pictures and information about the wedding festivities.

See you next time. Thank you for visiting with me today.

Odie
