Hey Friends,
I am here to give a brief update on a great Friday. Yesterday morning, we were up and going in the morning. I had a follow up appointment with my doctor.
God blessed me with a wonderful female doctor/surgeon, Dr. Madsen. Last Friday, on the way to the hospital, I prayed for help finding answers to my pain and for the right care team. Both of those prayers were answered!
I was at peace as soon as Dr. Kelsey Madsen took my case. She explained the test results and treatment plan to me smoothly last week. Her bedside manner was wonderful, and her kindness and compassion were incredible.
Yesterday was my one week post-op appointment. Everything is healing nicely. The extra staples were removed. The pathology report came back benign! I am rejoicing!!
I will continue my recovery process. The Doctor wants me to take it easy for a while longer. I have another appointment with her in 4 weeks.
After the doctor's visit, the Mayhans, Mom and I joined Uncle Steve, Aunt Karen, Bro. Scott, Sis Kim Morris for lunch.
The food was excellent and the company of great friends was amazing. We laughed and cried during the meal.
Friday evening we spent some time with Dale and Crystal Spencer from California. We so enjoy their visit to the beach cottage. They are some of our extremely dear friends.
That was a wrap on a great day. Thank God for blessing us once again! Thanks for checking in with us.
