 Hey Friends,

Thank you for visiting. Have you watched our newest video? It was uploaded on Tuesday to our Boggs Family Ministies Youtube channel. Bro. Colton Deane is jamming with Mom and me again. Please check it out!

Last Thursday’s Throwback was about my Uncle Steve. It was his birthday last week. Click here to see his birthday post.

March is also birthday month for a few more special people too. It is time for some belated birthday shoutouts and a few throwback photos too.

My cousin Courtney’s husband Joey Daniels had a birthday on the 8th. Joey has been a great addition to our family! We love you Joey. Thank you for all of your I.T. help!

Our sweet friend Javonia Searcy had a birthday March 9th. It is a holiday that we have to celebrate! We love you Javonia! Thank you for being our friend! You are a ray of sunshine in our lives!

Here is a favorite throwback picture and a couple newer pictures.

My cousin Morgan’s boyfriend Braden Yeager had a birthday on March 22. Braden, thank you for joining right in with our crazy crew!

Morgan joined the birthday club yesterday on the 26th. It was number 22 for her. Where did time go? Morgan has always been so cute! Morgan Rae, we love you to the sun and back! 😆

Throwback Thursday 3/20/25

 Hey Friends,

Spring has sprung, according to the calendar. I am anxious for warmth to stick around, as I am not a fan of bipolar weather!

Tuesday was beautiful here in Ohio. Yesterday, it was back to cold and windy. A storm blew in late last night. It was crazy for a while, but I think we are still here, thank God!

March 20th is also a special day in our family calendar! It was a day my Dad celebrated more than his birthday! His older brother Steve was born on March 20th1964. My Daddy sure did love his Bubba! He was so proud of him!

I have watched Uncle Steve live out what being the best big brother truly means. He was there for my Dad on the good and bad days. God allowed him to be there on the very worst days, right by Dad and us!

He is a fantastic man, and I'm proud to call him my Uncle! Everybody who meets Uncle Steve loves him! Anyone who was around Dad for more than a few moments heard something about his Bubba. We love Uncle Steve!

Unk, happy birthday! I hope you have the best day ever! You deserve to be celebrated today! Thank you for being the best brother and uncle we can ask for! We can never truly thank you enough for everything you have done for us! Thank you for being our rock!

God has been helping Uncle Steve through his own bout with sickness! Thank you for helping us pray! Many of you have asked me how he is doing. God has brought him a long way, and we are praying for continued healing! Uncle Steve is working hard to get his help on track!

I will close out today's post with some of my favorite throwback photos of the birthday boy! Thank you for joining us today. See you tomorrow.

Happy 75th Birthday Bro. Kenny Morris

 Hey Friends,

We had a wonderful weekend on our Mississippi trip. I will post pictures and details later. We had a busy few days, and as I type this post, I am getting ready to fall into bed on Sunday night.

Today, we attended two fabulous church services! Sunday morning, we attended First Assembly in Richton, Mississippi. It was great to see all of our precious friends there! Pastor Scott Morris preached excellently. The Lord used him to speak to my soul!

Sunday evening, we visited First Assembly in Ellisville, Mississippi. Pastor Kenny Morris and the congregation welcomed us with open arms and loved on us!  We have visited their church around this time of year for many years. It is great to be back with them!

Bro. Rogers Luke is preaching revival there this week. He preached a wonderful message, and the altar service was excellent!

Pastor. Kenny Morris celebrated his 75th birthday yesterday! Happy Birthday, Bro. Kenny, aka Granddaddy!

It We have been celebrating his birthdays with him for many years. This year was no exception! I am so glad that we were able to be there to love on him a little bit yesterday.

Bro. Kenny and his family have been like family to us. We are so grateful to have them in our lives!
their friendship has been blessing to us. We love all of them!

Thanks for reading! See you next time.

Example Of A Christian Full Of Character

 Hey Friends,

Thank you for joining me today! It always makes me happy that my friends decide to spend part of their day with me.

Yesterday was a full day of fun with family and friends! Keep reading, and I will tell you all about it.

Family

We were able to spend a little bit of time with a couple of our family members. It was Presidents' Day, and our schools were out around here. That meant we could meet my Gran and Aunt Kim for lunch.

Here are a few pictures that I captured to remember the moment.

I am so glad that our schedules lined up for this meeting to happen! I love my family and enjoy spending time with them whenever possible! The food was good, but the quality time was even better!

Friends

Later in the afternoon, we went to a party to celebrate a very special friend! Emily Burris Roberts just turned to 30 years old!

Happy birthday, my friend! We love you! I am so proud of you! We have had the privilege of watching you grow up from two years old until today.

It has been a joy! God has had His hand on your life, and you have followed him! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you!

I have done a lot of thinking the last few days about my friendship with Emily and her family. They are like family to us! It is amazing to have such wonderful people in our lives!

Emily was raised with Godly examples in her life! She has wonderful parents and grandparents. Now she is grown and has a life of her own, that includes a husband, Nathan Roberts!

It has been wonderful to see her continue to serve God! She carries on the family tradition,  and the Godly character that was passed down to her! Emily is a caring, loving and friendly person. The Bible says to have friends you must show yourself friendly. Emily has lived out that verse.

She is a friend too many people! Yesterday was just a small example of the friends that wanted to celebrate her milestone in life!

I am honored to be in her circle of friends! Looking back over the 28 years that I have known Emily, here is a little something that came to mind.

Life started for Elsie Emily Burris in February 1995. She was an excellent girl from the beginning. As a young lady, she lived an exceptional life, devoted to God! 30 years into life, Elsie Emily Roberts, is an elegant lady! Most of all she is great example of a christian full of character.

I will close with the pictures from Emily's party. It was an exquisite event, celebrating my wonderful friend! Everyone that had a part in making the party a success did a phenomenal job! I was so glad to attend this celebration!
