Saturday Smiles 10/24/26

 Hey Friends,

I hope you are having a great day. We are still in Oklahoma. 

Tomorrow, we are excited to be in Moore, Oklahoma, for church in both Sunday services. It will be great to see our friends at Crosslight Chapel again!

Last night we had dinner with Bruce and Priscilla Mayhan! We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious pizza! We had to have Bakers Pizza in Maysville!

It is always great to spend time with our friends. They are a bundle of fun. We are always planning and dreaming of the next adventure, while enjoying the here and now. This time we get to see them on their home turf. 😁

Thursday’s Lunch and Church

 Hey Friends,

Below are my pictures from our Thursday. My phone decided to load them in a crazy order. 

Yesterday afternoon, we went to lunch with Bro.  and Sis. Landress. Bro. Ronald and Sis. Brenda Hobby also joined us for lunch. They are in revival close by this week. We enjoyed the fellowship so much.

Last night, we went to the Hobby's revival at Ardmore Holiness Church. It was so good to be in service with Pastor Brent Moore and the congregation. It was so wonderful to see friends that we had not seen in a long time!

We had a wonderful service! The Lord was there in a special way. I believe we will hear testimonies from things God moved on last night. I know that I am thanking God in advance for touching me last night. It was one of those nights that I knew he was near me! I am so thankful for the gentle touches that He gives me!

Friends That Are Family

 Hey Friends,

We are blessed abundantly in the friendship department. Our family does not take that blessing lightly. We thank God daily for connecting us with so many wonderful people!

Bro. Larry and Sis. Rosemary Landress and Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan are some of the cream of the crop. They have been with us through thick and thin! We love them dearly, along with their children and grandchildren. The Landress family now includes great-grandchildren. 

These amazing people are not just friends; they are part of our family! We are loving getting to visit with them!

Tuesday, we had lunch with Jeromy and Renae Landress. Yesterday, we got to see Zack Mayhan for a bit.

Lauren And Los Cabos Lunch

 Hey Friends,

Before we hit the road on Monday, we had one more stop in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. We had to visit their Los Cabos location! 

 

Several years ago, we connected with a special lady who is a server at the BA Los Cabos. Lauren is a jewel! Since then, whenever we were in the area, we tried to visit when we thought she might be working. We love Lauren!

The last time that we saw her was October 14 2024, my 39th birthday. My parents took me out to dinner! Lauren made sure we celebrated well! It was an extra special birthday dinner! 

Little did we know what was happening in November. This was one of the final meals out that the 3 of us had together.  I will cherish it forever!

We were not able to make it to Los Cabos last year. I was determined to go back there this time. Thankfully, Lauren was working on Monday. We got to see our friend again after 2 years!

By the way, Happy Birthday to Lauren. She celebrates one this month too! Thanks for being such an awesome friend. See you next time!

It was also a pleasure to share the lunch with Bro. Trever and Sis. Lori Metheny. As well as Dr. Phil, Sis. Deidra and Bro. Colton Deane! The food was phenomenal! The fellowship with such precious people was incredible!

Los Cabos in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma is highly recommended!! We can not wait to go back.

Saturday Smiles 10/17/26

 Hey Friends,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Every call, text, email, message, card, gift and hug is truly appreciated. I am so thankful! I know that I am very loved.

I thank God for blessing me with 41 years of life. He has allowed me to have a terrific life!

Here are some pictures from birthday-related things this week. These moments made me smile. 

We spent some time in the Branson area this week. I enjoyed special time with my Mama. We shopped, ate and relaxed. 

Thursday evening, we found our way to one of our favorite Tulsa area Mexican restaurants. Los Cabos was so good. The fellowship with Joy, Terry and Joy Cummins was excellent!

Terry is a brat, he made sure the celebration continued. Thanks for making certain I felt special.
