Beckham Is One

 Hey Friends,

My regular readers will recognize Beckham. He is my cousins Jonas and Kylee's boy. You all have helped us pray hard for this little guy!

August 30th 2025, Beckham Porter Boggs was born. We were smitten from the beginning. We knew he was a special dude. 

Little did we know the health battles that laid ahead for him in the coming days, weeks and months. God brought him through a lot of stuff in the last year! Thanks for the prayers. Beckham is a warrior. He has rallied and persevered with courage. 

The war is not over. According to doctors he has a major battle to face. His rare genetic disorder makes him a candidate for a bone marrow transplant. We are still hoping and praying for divine intervention. God is well able to turn things around. 

Soon, they have an appointment with the  BMT specialist. Hopefully Jonas and Kylee will know more of a game plan then. The doctor wanted to wait until Beckham is one. Maybe another form of treatment will be available for his age now. 

Earlier this month they celebrated his big birthday. We did not get to be there, but I am so thankful for video and pictures. Thanks to Aunt Holly for supplying party pics! His 1 year photos are adorable. 

We love our little guy so much. He is a miracle boy! Here is a comparison of Beckham and his Uncle Davy the Great. I think they favor each other.

Fun Food Friends And Family

 Hey Friends,

We had a fantastic week with our longtime friends Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan. I know I mentioned their visit on Tuesday. 

This week we have done lots of reminiscing, visiting, eating and laughing on repeat. He even mowed my yard yesterday! That was a huge help to us, especially Mom 😂. 

We needed this time with our precious friends. Their friendship and support mean the world to us. They are a special gift from God to Mom and me.

Bruce and Priscilla, we love and appreciate them so much. Thank you all for spending time with us! See you on down the road!

Monday With The Mayhans

 Hey Friends,

We have very special guests visiting us this week. Our precious friends Bruce and Priscilla Mayhan arrived in town yesterday. 

It was great to spend time with them last night. We are looking forward to more fun times catching up with our friends. 

We introduced them to City BBQ. They love for, just like us. I failed to snap more pics last night. We were enjoying our visit to much to think about pics. I will have to take more pictures today.

Jackson Is Almost 7

 Hey Friends,

Yesterday, I mentioned that we attended a birthday party on Saturday. Well, today I have a few more pics. 

Jackson Lee Daniels will be 7 on Sunday. How in the world is my little cutie so big? He is now a big first grader.

He is the sweetest little guy. His heart is so tender. I love that he is a loving kid! 

He is extremely smart and so inquisitive. He loves to learn about weather, geography, construction, structures, and water towers. He loves building his city! It is a blast watching his mind at work!

We love you, Jackson! Aunt Kelly and I are so proud of you. I am glad we could be at your party this year.

Jackson is Mom’s great nephew. He belongs to my cousin Courtney and Joey. His big brother is Ezra and his little sister is Karliegh Jo. Just a little  family refresh. I know it can be hard keep all the connections straight.
