Yesterday was the wrap up of the morning youth services under the tent and the VBS in the church every afternoon. It was all good!
Sis. Sarah Bass and Sis. Abigail Metzger along with their troop of volunteers put on an excellent Vacation Bible School. The kids and adults loved every second of it.
Of course, no VBS or Kids Crusade would be complete without somebody getting a pie in the face. The girls were in the lead right down to the end but the boys won in the end.
Bro. Peter Metzger represented the girls so he was the lucky one! Bro. Caleb Bontrager represented the boys and was the victor but he took a pie in the face anyway. What a good sport!
As you can see the pie had a way of spreading around quite a bit. I even ended up with some overspray and I was standing ten feet away!
God blessed in each morning youth service under the tent. The youth pastor Bro. Nathan Jeffreys preached Monday and Friday. Bro. Caleb Bontrager preached on Tuesday. Bro. Paul Blanton on Wednesday and Bro. Jared Burris on Thursday.
Every message was preached with an obvious burden to help and the youth responded well. The youth group is really doing good and they are hungry for God. That is great to see.
It has really been a great week so far. We have had at least a couple visitors from the community each night and we are thankful for that. We have three more services before we wrap up. Pray that God will give us some more souls in Montana.
I plan to work some today on getting the trailer organized and ready to pack up and ride. But I will mostly stay focused on the service tonight. I need God to help me each and every service.
God bless you all.
