I mentioned the wind was blowing strong last night and it remained very windy all night long. It sounded as if a metal porch roof was being ripped off for hours. Normally the noise might have bothered me but I was tired enough to sleep very well.
We have lots more pictures to post so I will get them posted in the next few days. Sis. Rosemary took some great pictures with her good camera and has shared them with us. I know you will want to see them.
We are settled in at the Holiday Inn in Tuxtla Gutierrez.
We will go down to the restaurant to eat in a little while with Bro. Larry and Sis. Rosemary and then we will try to lay down for a few hours sleep before another very long travel day.
We could have scheduled our tickets to fly out this afternoon but then we would have had to spend the night in Mexico City. None of us have ANY desire to overnight there. It is much safer to stay right here in Tuxtla Gutierrez. Bro. and Sis. Landress have been there enough for all of us.
We picked up Bro. Jorge and Sis. Mary at his Uncle's house about 1:00 today.
Bro. Jorge drove us to Tuxtla and dropped us at the Holiday Inn. We were very sad to say goodbye to our friends.
It has been 8 years since we have seen them and we hope it is not near as long before we seen them again. Bro. Jorge is Bro. Larry's right hand in Mexico. He is a very good and Godly man.
My brother Steve sent me this picture from home today. It looks like they have received some more snow and somebody has been shoveling. Did you do that, Bubba?
I have absolutely no desire to leave this warm weather and go back into all that cold and snow but that is where the BoggsMobile is at the moment so I am anxious to go.
