"I'm Gonna Love You Through It" Again

Hey Friends,

It is once again Saturday, so this is Odie checking in with you. We had a wonderful week at City Reach Richton, Mississippi! Last night was truly the grand finale! God moved in a powerful way in lives. It is always awesome to see souls saved, people filled with the Holy Ghost and encouraged. We are believing for even more good reports of God moving in the days ahead.

We love our amazing friends at First Assembly! I can not explain the blessing they have been to us!  We definitely cherish their friendship and love having tent revival with them.

The Morris family once again opened their home to me while we were in town. I love staying with them! They always make me feel right at home. Thanks Bro. Scott, Sis. Kim, Regan and Rylee for including me in your family this week! I love you all so much!

Tomorrow we are scheduled to start homecoming revival at Tanner Williams Holiness Church in Wilmer Alabama.  We are looking forward to a super week with Pastor Donnie Williamson and his church! The tent should come down today in Richton and then we plan to travel to Tanner Williams and get ready for revival. The Homecoming service will be Sunday October 4th.

Before I leave today I wanted to share a link to a moving video. Two years ago I wrote a post about the song "I'm Gonna Love You Through It".  This song was written by my cousin Sonya Isaacs, her husband Jimmy Yeary and cowriter Ben Hayslip. It was enspired by my Aunt Lily Isaacs' battle with cancer many years ago.

The song was recorded by The Isaacs on their Why Can't We project. It was also recorded by Martina McBride. Martina's version topped the charts and received several award nominations.

Recently the song has received media attention. A group of kids in New York sang the song for a teacher who has been diagnosed with cancer. Dad found this video of PS22 Chorus in the news. I dare you to make it through this video with dry eyes. I have watched it many times over the last several weeks and I still cry.

Until next time have a wonderful weekend!

Odie
