Hey Friends,
This is Odie reporting in from the BoggsMobile. We finished in Sweeny, Texas last night. You can see pictures from Full Gospel Lighthouse in Sweeny HERE.
Today we are scheduled to change locations but we will still be in Texas for a little while longer. I am excited to see my friends at Beech Creek Assembly this coming week. We always have a fabulous time in Livingston with Pastor Don Goodwin. Revival is scheduled for Sunday-Wednesday. Then we plan to be Mississippi bound.

This post is not sponsored by Hobby Lobby I do love shopping at the store! They are a Christian company that I gladly support.
Did you know you can be encouraged by a trip to Hobby Lobby? Well, it worked for me. That must be why shopping is called retail therapy.
I took this picture below of the sign at Hobby Lobby last week.
I sent the picture, as a joke, to a close family friend. He used to have a habit of forgetting his bike on the bike rack on top of his car and there was a low drive under porch leaving his house. Did you ask what happened? He crunched his bike and it happened more than once. I like to tease him so we had some laughs because of this sign!
The more I thought about the sign this week it has reminded me of what happens in life. Things are moving along smoothly and out of nowhere a low overhead clearance appears and crunches things. I am left thinking what in the world just happened? If only I could have had a WARNING ⚠️ sign.
It seems to me everywhere I look, those around me are being caught by the surprise of life’s low clearances. I am praying they can get a break and some smooth roads with clear skies for a change.
Also while in Hobby Lobby, I heard the music of the hymn, “He Hideth My Soul”. Before I realized it, I was singing along. This is what I found myself singing at the store.
“He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
that shadows a dry thirsty land;
He hideth my life in the depths of His love
and covers me there with His hand,
and covers me there with His hand.”
It was the reminder I need for that day. When a low clearance of life takes me by surprise, I can survive by running to the rock. My God will be there to cover me and help me with the damage.
I could only remember the chorus so I looked the words up online. This is an amazing song penned by Fanny Crosby. Wow, what a testimony to the greatness of God.
Fanny Crosby was blind from shortly after birth. Yet she knew where her strength and help was found. She survived the overwhelming obstacle of blindness by hiding in the cleft of the rock. She penned many incredible lyrics that still bring hope to troubled lives.

I will leave you with the full words to “He Hideth My Soul.” I found them here on this website. Thank for visiting with us today. I hope you find encouragement this weekend.
Verse 1
A wonderful Savior is Jesus My Lord,
A wonderful Savior to me;
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock,
Where rivers a pleasure I see,
Chorus
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock
That shadows a dry, thirsty land;
He hideth my life in the depths of His love,
And covers me there with His hand,
And covers me there with His hand.
Verse 2
A wonderful Savior Jesus my Lord,
He taketh my burden away;
He holdeth me up and I shall not be moved,
He giveth me strength as my day.
Verse 3
The numberless blessings each moment He crowns,
And, filled with His fullness is divine,
I sing in my rapture, oh glory to God,
For such a Redeemer as mine!
Verse 4
When clothes in His brightness, transported I rise
To meet Him in clouds in the sky,
His perfect salvation, His wonderful love,
I’ll shout with the millions on high.
