Tent Revival in Amber, Oklahoma wrapped up with a wonderful faith building service on Friday night. The Lord moved in a powerful way in the altar service and it really was a grand finale.
We appreciate all of the visitors that came to tent revival and we sure appreciate the people from the Amber Mission Holiness Church. They were so kind to us and I am thankful God visited us all in revival. It was a pleasure to work along side of them and Pastor Russell Cheek and his precious family.
Here are a few pictures from Friday night.
The tent came down without much trouble at all on Friday night after church. I was thankful that it was completely dry and we were able to get it packed up Friday night. Praise God for the good help to get the work done too!
It was mostly too dark for good pictures, but Odie snapped several. I will try to post them later.
She also was able to capture a few pictures during fellowship after taking down the tent.
Bro. Cheek helped me move the trailer to the street and then we hooked it up to the BoggsMobile and pointed it toward Oklahoma City. We can not get the bus into the parking lot at Landmark Holiness Tabernacle so we are staying in an RV Park. The RV Park does not have space for the tent trailer so we had to make other arrangements for it.
We pulled it to Mt. Vernon Holiness Church in Oklahoma City and Pastor Rickey Searcy backed it in next to his garage.
Here is the BoggsMobile at Mt. Vernon before going on to the RV Park.
After we settled in at the RV Park, we slipped over to Chelino's on 42nd and Robinson to meet Bro. Rickey and his family for a late lunch. It was as good as I remember it being! Wow!
We rested a bit Saturday evening and then drove a little over an hour to be in church with our friends. Bro. Larry Landress and Sis. Rosemary are very diligent to go out of their way to be in service with us on a regular basis. For years they have showed up all kinds of places. We rarely get to return the favor so we wanted to slip in to one service of the annual fellowship meeting at their home church.
Of course we also were able to see Bro. Jeffrey and Sis. Rebecca Blankenship and their girls too. They attend the same church. We visited briefly with several more long time friends like Bro. Bruce and Sis. Priscilla Mayhan and many more. I am glad we went.
Sunday morning we sang and preached at Crosslight Chapel in Moore, Oklahoma. This is an outreach church started by Bro. Lendell and Sis. Cyndi Birdsong and a great group of volunteers. We absolutely loved the awesome service!
We love this work and we can not wait to go back soon. I love helping and encouraging folks to reach out beyond the four walls of the church and bring people to Christ.
Thank you Bro. and Sis. Birdsong for inviting us to be with you!
I even got in on the Father's Day gifts!
Sunday afternoon we took our sound equipment to Landmark, set up and began revival with Pastor Jeremy Brooks and his folks. We had a tremendous first night!
We love Bro. Brooks and his family. We look forward to spending time with them this week and having five more great services.
Did I mention that one of the best taco trucks is not very far way?
