A Quick Visit with Deidre and Charlie

Hey Friends,

Happy Saturday, this is Odie reporting in from Alabama. God blessed us with a very good week in Foley with Pastor Eddy Sullivan. Thank you to our sweet friends at Bibleway Assembly for making us feel extremely welcome.

Today is an easy travel day because we are staying in Alabama. We are excited to be with Pastor Darius Templeton and the wonderful congregation at Cedar Creek Holy Church of God. We always have a great time with them. I am anticipating a fabulous week this time. Revival is scheduled through Wednesday night in Citronelle.

Deidre and Charlie

I know that you saw Deidre and little Charlie in the Revival In Pictures post last week. It was wonderful to have them.

I need to say a big thank you to, Deidre's husband, Ben for allowing them to come to spend some time with me. I did miss seeing you, Ben! It brightened my week to spend just a little time with two of my favorite people! It was exactly what I needed.

Deidre is my cousin, but we claim each other as sisters. Normally many miles separate us. We have learned to value anytime that we can be together. We were overdue for a little sister time!

Deidre Faye, I love you so much! Thank you for using your valuable time from your life to come to see us! I appreciate your visit more than you realize!

Charles Ray, “Charlie”, improved my world with his arrival last April. This was only the third time that I was actually able to see him and love him in person. Charlie's smile and laugh bring a lot of sunshine to my life. I love the little guy so very much.

I can not believe that Charlie will soon be a year old. He is growing so fast and it is exciting to watch his personality bloom. I had fun playing with him.

I have to share one funny story. I still can not believe this happened. Charlie decided to show me his sneaky side. We were eating at a restaurant when Charlie successfully grabbed a cup of water from the table and spilled it all over me. I guess he thought that I needed a shower.

I was shocked and Charlie sat there laughing and smiling. He was playing with the water as it poured from the table onto me. I think that He was really proud of himself. It really seemed like he knew exactly what had happened. I could only join Charlie in laughter.

Charles Ray, you are definitely a mess, but I still love you! Thanks for making sure Auntie O was clean.

My precious time with Deidre and Charlie was over way too soon, but I am so grateful for their visit. It will be a while before we can catch up again. I will cherish the special memories from this visit for a long time.

Thank you for stopping by to visit with me. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Odie
