I mentioned yesterday that we stopped in Hodgenville, Kentucky for a while on our way home Tuesday. We wanted to see the progress on the construction of the new sanctuary at Hodgenville Pentecostal Church.
I have written about Pastor David Webb and his folks building a new church before, but it has been almost a year since we have been there. Bro. Webb met us there and gave us the grand tour. We were blown away, to say the least.
We only took a few pictures.
We also enjoyed a late lunch with Bro. and Sis. Webb. The salads at Hometown Pizza were tremendous and the fellowship with our friends was even better. Kelly Jo and I are so glad they took time for us as we were passing through.
Wednesday was mostly a rest day for me even though I had slept really good the first night back in my own bed. KJo mowed the grass, but the only time I ventured outside was to sit on the porch for a while with my parents and also to eat carryout with them from Acapulco.
It was wonderful to drink Salsa again!
Thursday I intended to begin easing back into projects in the barn. There are plenty of things to do and I am itching to get them done. I will only do a little each day. Maybe I will get started today, I rested again most of Thursday, trying to catch up.😎
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a great weekend.
