What did we do on our special day? We went to camp meeting, of course!😍
I think I would be safe in saying KJo and I have spent the majority of our wedding anniversaries in camp meetings and youth camps. For most of the rest of the years, we were in revival somewhere. This year was no exception.
Tuesday was the first full day of camp meeting at Paw Creek. The first service was at 9:30, the second service was at 11:00 and the night service began at 7:00. We led the singing, did some special singing and sang for the altar service in each service.
I know that sounds like a lot of church, but the atmosphere at camp meeting this year is just right and we are enjoying the services very, very much. I am also doing my best to not overdo myself and keep taking baby steps.
In the afternoon, KJo had a hankering for a good steak so we were off to Longhorn in a hurry. We enjoyed the good food and we enjoyed our time together.
After all these years, I would still rather be with Kelly Jo than anyone else on earth.
