Ladies and Gentlemen, I have a big announcement for you today!
This day, Thursday, October 14, is the birthday of our daughter, the one and only Odie Boggs!
Happy, Happy Birthday Odie Podie Pickle Hymer Schmidt! Your Mama and I love you and we are proud of you.
I began thinking about writing a special post for Odie's birthday several days ago. I was feeling pretty creative until I realized that I had already used all those creative ideas.😆
I thought I could write about the day she was born and all the trauma she brought with her. But I have done that. I thought I could write about the weekend before she was born and how we walked around the Sauerkraut Festival. But I have done that.
I thought I could write about past birthday meals. But I had done that. I thought I could write about past birthday experiences and locations. But I had done that.😢
Then I hit on an idea. I went back through my phone and found the latest 36 pictures of Odie. These are random pictures in various places with various people over the last few months. The common thread is that Odie is in every picture. 36 pictures, one for each year!
