Happy Mother's Day 2022

Hey Friends,

This is Odie reporting in from the road. The BoggsMobile is Tennessee bound. We are excited to spend a few days with our dear friends at Beechfork Holiness Church.

Pastor Herman and Sis. Margaret Woods have always been a part of my life. They adopted us like family and we love them so much! We do not get to see them often. I cherish the time that we do get to be with them!

It will be an honor to spend Mother’s Day tomorrow with Sis. Margaret Woods! She is honestly one of the sweetest people that I know. Here is a picture from my archives.

Happy Mother's Day 2022
Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you have a fantastic weekend. Mothers are a tremendous blessing!

I am so thankful for all the extraordinary ladies who played a special role in my life. Several ladies have influenced me and I am grateful.

Today I want to honor my Grandmothers. I am privileged to still have my Mamaw and Gran. I recently took these selfies with my Mamaw, Martha Boggs and Gran, Betty Morgan.

My Mamaw and Gran are both excellent! I love both of them very much! I really wish I could find the words to convey how much they mean to me.

Now I want to honor my precious Mother for a moment! I pulled several photos from my collection for this post.

Every year when I sit down to write about Mom, I find myself staring at a blinking curser. Why you ask? My Mother is awesome! It is impossible to adequately express, in a blog post, how important she is to me.

Last year I was very inspired to write Mother's Day post. I went back and reread it. Then I was tempted to repost it this year. Every single word is still accurate today! You can read what I wrote in 2021 here.

Dad often says Mom is the driving force behind our family and ministry. Those words are incredibly true! We could not do what we do without her labor of love. Mom does not like the spotlight, but she deserves some recognition.

Some of the qualities that I love about my Mom are her beauty, talent, devotion and determination! I am honored God chose her to be my Mother!

I was thinking about Mom's name Kelly Jo. Then I thought of some of her inspiring traits that correspond with the letters of her name. I have listed them below.

K is for Kindness. Mom is always kind and thoughtful.
E is for Elegant. Mom is a truly classy lady.
L is for Loving. Mom is constantly showing me her love for me!
L is for Loyal. Mom is always loyal! I am thankful she is on my side.
Y is for Youthful. Mom is a big kid at heart and makes life fun!

J is for Joy. Mom brings so much joy to those who know her.
O is for optimism. Mom taught me to look on the bright side of life.

Mom,
Happy Mother's Day! You are amazing! I am proud to be your daughter! I am striving to be more like you every day. Most days, I fail miserably but I will keep trying. Thank you for always being there for me! I love you with all my heart!

Thank you for visiting with me today! I hope you have a great weekend!
