Happy Easter 2023

Hey Friends,

Extra note from Odie.
I am sorry if some of the fonts and text sizing look drastically different. I have adjusted the settings several times. It always looks good in preview mode, but it is wrong on the published side of the blog.

This is Odie checking in from Georgia. I want to wish you a Happy Easter! We will spend Easter 2023 with our friend, Pastor Rick Simpson and the congregation of Jersey Holiness Church.

This is crucifixion week, and we celebrate that our Savior died for our sins. Two thousand years ago, Jesus willingly gave His life for all the world. Because of His sacrifice, we have hope for today.

The crucifixion story does not end with Christ's death and burial. The events of the first Easter Sunday are why I celebrate. Three days after Jesus died, He rose from a sealed grave!

Two thousand years later, Christ is still alive! I am so grateful that today He lives inside my heart. His death, burial and resurrection changed my life! I am thankful for the personal relationship that I have with my Jesus. He is mine and I am His!

He is not only My Jesus. You can know Him too. "He will do for you what He's done for me." Jesus loves you unconditionally! He is waiting and longing to be your Savior and Friend! Just call upon the name of Jesus. He will hear you!

I have a portion of a song on my heart. Let me tell you about My Jesus. This chorus is powerful. I want to share My Jesus with the world around me.

He makes a way where there ain't no wayRises up from an empty graveAin't no sinner that He can't saveLet me tell you 'bout my JesusHis love is strong and His grace is freeAnd the good news is I know that HeCan do for you what He's done for meLet me tell you 'bout my JesusAnd let my Jesus change your life

This entire song is incredible. I love the message found in the lyrics. It really puts Jesus accessible to everyone. You can listen to Anne Wilson sing her song below. You have probably heard this song before, but I encourage you to let these words sink in.

Thank you for spending a moment of your Saturday with me. May God bless you this weekend is, my prayer. See you next time.
